As the conference is situated in Oxford city centre, we strongly recommend using public transport where possible. The most convenient method is most likely to be by train, as the Saïd Business School is located directly adjacent to Oxford Train Station. However, please note that rail strikes may cause continued travel disruption. 

Rail

The train journey from London (Paddington or Marylebone) typically takes around one hour, with trains up to five times an hour. There is an hourly service from Manchester (three hours) and Birmingham (one hour), and regular services linking the south coast and north east, including a service from Edinburgh (six and a half hours).

 

Coach

There are regular coach services between Oxford and airports at Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Birmingham, and Luton. The ‘Oxford Airline’ service to Heathrow runs every 30 minutes, and to Gatwick, every hour.

 

Bus

The ‘Oxford Tube’ bus service runs to and from London every 10 or 20 minutes, and takes around one hour 40 minutes (traffic dependant).

 
Car

We do not recommend driving into Oxford city centre; however, there are five park-and-ride car parks located near the outskirts of the city.

The Thatcher Business Education Centre.

Oxford Bus Station, located at Gloucester Green, is less than ten minutes' walk from the Saïd Business school. See the Google Map for directions to the School.

This conference is located in the Thatcher Business Education Centre (TBEC), in the West Wing of the Saïd Business School. This is directly adjacent to the train station; simply cross the road and turn left at the Ox sculpture. If you are approaching from the bus station, you will pass the glass-fronted Park End Street entrance to the School and turn right. In both cases, follow the side of the School past the Ox sculpture until you reach the TBEC reception area.
